| Double happy birthday trouble!Happy birthday to two of my favorite people... my husband Jeff and goddaughter Kayla. Jeff is 33 today and Kayla is 1 year young! Love you both!

| Kayla updateHi everyone, just popped in to see Jen, Rudy and Kayla at the hospital.
Kayla was measured this morning and is 20.5" long! Imagine if she had gone to full term, she would have been my height (5')! 
Everyone is doing well. Jen was running a fever and not feeling so great last night, so they moved her to a private room and pumped her full of antibiotics... she's feeling much better today. She should be going home from the hospital tomorrow if everything stays on track.
Yuna met her sister today for the first time! If you remember, Jen and Rudy had a present for her that they put on Kayla's lap... Yuna was more excited about the present than the baby! She was happy to see Kayla though and Jen and Rudy got some great pictures of their first meeting that I'm sure Jen will post when she is more up and about (and home!).
Everybody looks great and Jen and Rudy (and Kayla) send their love!

No news is good news... I assume Ladybug is working on getting Miss K (as a lot of people are referring to her and I think is cute as hell) into the world. I hope to be at the hospital around 7pm so I hope we are able to see Ladybug and Rudy and Miss Kayla! For those keeping track... tonight is Yuna's night with her daddy so she will probably get to meet her new sister tomorrow!

Jen just called. She's had her epidural and can actually speak now. She is at 5cm dilated and the contractions have slowed a bit, to 4-5 minutes (she is watching them on the monitor, can't feel them LOL). They are going to break her water soon which should speed things up. Everyone is hopeful for around dinnertime. Her mom and Rudy are with her. My hubby and I are going to celebrate his birthday by dropping by the hospital later... I'll bring pictures back with me if Kayla is born by then. I told her everyone sends their love and is thinking of her!
NOTE: post title will change from "Wel...., Kayla!" to "Welcome, Kayla!" when she is finally here (or else, "Welcome, Aiden!" and then the sonogram tech loses her job!)

No news is good news I assume. A reminder to everyone that Jen went into labor with Yuna in the middle of night (as now) and Yuna was born at 5:16 PM. So hopefully in a few hours I will have some news!!

Heading back to the hospital. Jen is in a bit of pain and can't time contractions so Rudy is doing it. She was only dilated to 2cm this morning (as she has been since last week) so they sent her home to wait, but the contractions are VERY strong and she needs some pain relief. Let's hope she's dilated some more!!

Will update as I get more!! Today is my husband's birthday and the day I called for Kayla to be born... so she is already being a good girl and doing what her Aunt D says!
